Mode 1.1.4 makes canvas controls feel more familiar, improves preview ergonomics, and strengthens GitHub and onboarding reliability.

Shift and Alt now work consistently

Hold Shift while dragging to constrain movement to one axis. When resizing or cropping images, Shift preserves the aspect ratio while Alt resizes from the opposite corner or center. Shift-clicking also removes elements from a selection correctly.

More improvements

• Esc closes previews: Press Esc to leave preview mode without reaching for the close control.

• Open the right preview page: The docked browser now opens at the page you were working with instead of a default location.

• Clear unsupported-browser guidance: Unsupported browsers now show a designed notice instead of failing silently.

• Smoother building into portals: Sending a build from the composer into a portal has fewer awkward handoffs between the request and its destination.

Fixes

• Connecting GitHub now works in Safari without the installation tab being blocked.

• GitHub integrations now ignore unrecognized repositories safely and recover from unexpected webhook errors.

• Onboarding demo content now copies successfully when an optional asset is unavailable.

• Read-only helper agents can no longer use editing tools.
